Michael Jenks MBE
Michael Jenks MBE is currently the European Head of Custody and Fund Service, Account management at JP Morgan. He has over 20 years Financial Services experience, both in Operations, Product and Relationship Management. He was formerly Head of Relationship Management for the Asset Manager segment at Northern Trust and prior to that, worked as a Client Executive in the Markets business of JP Morgan for 5 years. Prior to his career in Financial Services, Michael served for 10 years in the British Army, retiring as the Ops Major of 33 Engineer regiment (EOD). He undertook several operational tours in Northern Ireland. Mike holds a first degree in Civil Engineering and an MSc awarded with distinction in Finance. He was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire by HM Queen Elizabeth II.
CEO Sapper Support
Tim Evers, Founder and CEO of Sapper Support. Once leaving my Training Regiment, I was posted to 39 Engineer Regiment at Waterbeach, serving in 34 Field Squadron. Whilst there we deployed to Belize for my first tour. On returning to the UK, I applied for a transfer and moved to 33 Engineer Regiment EOD, serving in 21 Engineer Squadron, EOD. Promoted to L/Cpl I was 2IC of my section when we deployed to Bosnia in 96. Working in Gorni Vakuf and the surrounding area, we made safe thousands of ordnance pieces, recovered various vehicles and personnel who strayed off road and cleared routes and buildings. When I left the army in 97 I joined the fire service, where I still serve today. Over the past 4 years I have been the REA-BD Fundraising Coordinator. Raising thousands of pounds for those soldiers of Bomb Disposal who have been injured physically or psychologically.

Peter Markham is employed as a Team Leader with the Environment Agency, Flood Coastal Risk Management, for South London. Peter, joined up as a Junior Leader and served with 45 Field Support, 3 Field Squadron, 49 and 58 Field Squadrons, 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) with tours in Germany, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Australia, including four post conflict clearance tours in the Falkland Islands having served for 15 years. Peter, also worked for Royal Ordnance PLC, on Clearance Ops as Team Leader in Kuwait.
Peter is currently Secretary of REA BD Branch working to help those still serving as well as veterans – “Service Not Self”
